Fontana AYSO Soccer Sponsorship Program Fall 2009
Over 1100 children, Kindergarten through High School, played in Fontana’s AYSO program last fall and we are hoping to increase that number for Fall 2009. Our region is the largest youth sports organization in the City of Fontana.
The Corporate Sponsorship Program goals are to:
Keep player registration costs low: Currently, 90% of player registration costs go directly to player development and participation costs. Our goal is to keep registration costs as low and reasonable as possible to help make our program enjoyable and affordable - one of AYSO’s core philosophies is “Open Registration” meaning open to everyone. Part of that philosophy is to be affordable.
Player and Coaching development: If AYSO had a middle name it would be Training. AYSO has programs to train players, coaches, referees, and program administrators at various levels. We also provide excellent parent education materials. Our goal is to provide all training free of charge. Our ability to meet this goal is dependent upon the success of our sponsorship program.
Provide Quality Equipment and Offset Rising Insurance Costs: A rising part of the expenses associated with the program are to cover the cost of equipment to run a comprehensive program, as well as to cover increasing insurance cost for the AYSO players. Fontana AYSO Soccer subsidizes those costs through player registration and corporate sponsorship. The more successful the corporate sponsorship; the less of a burden the registration costs are to the families of the players.
